Assembled on terrace with park scenery on the left and drapery and architecture as a backdrop. Ward made engravings from Bryan's old masters collection.
Provenance
Remained in Bryan family until 1935, sold by Sotherby's to Mr. Reitlinger. At 1953 Reitlinger sale, sold to Mr. Cevat who sold it on to Mr. Mortimer Brandt who sold it to anonymous owner.
