Horace and Hogarth Reunited update

We are delighted to announce that following the incredible support shown through so many generous donors for our ‘Horace and Hogarth Reunited’ campaign, the William Hogarth portrait of Horace Walpole as a child has now arrived at Strawberry Hill House.

Our Conservation team will now begin to prepare the painting ahead of its official unveiling on the 9 June. The painting will then be on display for visitors to enjoy. We look forward to sharing more updates over the next few weeks.

We would not have been successful in acquiring this remarkable painting were it not for the support we received during the appeal, so once again, a huge thank you from all of us at Strawberry Hill House.
