We’ve reached our target!

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your support, we've reached 105% of our crowdfunding target for a new 2000s period room at the Museum!

Thanks to 115 crowdfund backers, we will be able to continue working with the community to uncover stories of queer domesticity and create an LGBTQ+ home in our permanent galleries.

We'll be able to acquire the objects needed to fill the home and bring to life the stories of these residents at the turn of the century. As they turn their ex-council flat into a shared home, we'll discover the key roles they'll play in London's LGBTQ+ community.
