Project Progress and Reward Update 

With apologies for not doing so before now, we wanted to send you an update on the Help Us Create an Art Space for All project and to let you know where we are with the rewards.

Many of you who are attending events will have already been contacted to let you know the details. The first of these, the Exclusive Private Tour to Peter Randall-Page's Art Barn, is about to take place, quickly followed by the Print and Prosecco Workshop.

We're working closely with Art Fund, the suppliers and artists to create the other rewards and, although a little bit behind schedule, we hope to be able to send out further information on delivery and when they are almost ready to despatch soon.

In the meantime, the wider Light and Inspiration project - of which the Art Space for All is part of - is progressing well.

In the downstairs space, walls have been knocked through to create the new family and community space and changing places toilet facility. We hope the photograph above shows just how large the new space will be.

Upstairs, new openings have been created to welcome everyone through our façade, and we're about to start the removal and replacement of the huge roof lanterns above the galleries. Inside, the new electrical and heating supplies are being fixed and the old lift and shaft have been completely removed, making way for the new lift.

Despite careful financial management, there have been some delays and unforeseen increases in costs, as a result of the current supply issues with both materials and manpower. Fundraising efforts therefore continue, and we'd love to hear from you if you'd be willing to support us further.

Lastly, thank you so much once again for the support you gave in making the Art Space for All project happen, which will mean so much to families and vulnerable audiences next year when we re-open.
