Children aged 8+ are invited to a magical afternoon at our winter lantern workshop.
They’ll have the chance to craft their own lanterns from scratch, decorating them with festive images inspired by Raymond Briggs' cherished stories, or using traditional winter solstice designs.
The workshop will end with a lantern lighting ceremony and a parade at the front of the museum. Parents and guardians are invited to meet us at the front of the museum at 4:30pm for the parade.
To wrap up the experience, participants will enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate.
