Boathouse stories: Settle in for tales of nautical adventure with Windermere and our boat collection as the perfect backdrop.
Raise Dolly trail: Have you got what it takes to rescue Dolly the steamboat from the waters of Windermere? Have a go to find out!
Build a Boat with Makedo: Come along and flex your creative muscles, building cardboard creations using child-safe saws, screws and screwdrivers, designed by Makedo.
Nautical knotting: Learn the skills of a real skipper, with all the materials and instructions you need to practice some essential boating knots.
Seasonal Wildlife Trail: Join us for a winter adventure exploring the natural world, from the comfort of the great indoors!
Self-led activities: Satisfy your curiosity with our fun activities available to pick up from reception and the cafe.

We will be closed on 25–26 December 2024. The Museum will also be closed from 20–31 January 2025, but the café and shop will reopen on 22 January.
