Strut through fashion's transformative runway show experiences
Explore this immersive exhibition tracing the evolution of fashion runway shows from early 20th-century couture salons to modern pop-culture events. Inventing the Runway combines first-hand accounts and diverse media to showcase how fashion shows have become a key expression of designers' visions and identities, and celebrates the creativity, discipline, and passion that have transformed fashion shows into global spectacles integrating art, technology, and celebrity.
Featuring a 360-degree experience within Lightroom’s four-storey space, visitors will explore thematic chapters with original animations, immersive sound design, and a dynamic score blending classical and pop music, altogether reflecting the cultural impact of iconic shows.
