Hellens Manor

Hellens Manor, a living monument to much of England's history, is a private home rather than a museum, containing period furnishings, paintings and decorations.
The manor in Much Marcle, Herefordshire dates back to 1057. Its first owner was Harold Godwinson, the last Anglo-Saxon king who was overthrown and killed in 1066. Boasting a unique blend of architectural styles, from its 12th-century foundations to later Tudor, Jacobean, and Georgian additions, this much-loved home offers a glimpse into centuries of English life, with treasures and trinkets passed down through generations.
