The Mall Galleries in London champion new contemporary figurative art by living artists, aiming to promote, inspire and educate audiences about the visual arts.

This prestigious institution, located in the heart of London, is the home of the Federation of British Artists (FBA), a charitable organisation that champions visual arts. Founded in 1961, the FBA encompasses nine member art societies, each specialising in a particular artistic medium.

Diverse exhibitions

Throughout the year, Mall Galleries provide artists with a platform to showcase their work through open exhibitions and opportunities focusing on figurative art. Expect to see annual exhibitions by the member societies, featuring works in oil painting, portraiture, marine art, wildlife art, watercolours, pastels, printmaking, and sculpture.

Opportunities for art lovers

Mall Galleries caters to a wide range of interests. Art lovers can simply browse the exhibits, discovering the talent on display. If you're looking to deepen your appreciation, the gallery offers talks, tours, and workshops led by knowledgeable experts. For those who wish to take home a piece of art, there are opportunities to purchase works directly from the exhibiting artists.

Art for All

Look out for Art for All, a yearly auction of small affordable works. All proceeds go towards the gallery’s mission, to foster the careers of emerging and established artists through a variety of programs, including awards, bursaries, residencies, and scholarships. By visiting Mall Galleries, you're not only enriching your own cultural experience, but also supporting the future of British figurative art.
