Art Funded by you

Atapuerca - Ritual Fire Dance

Brian Graham, 2007

© The artist

This is the first example of Brian Graham's work to enter the museum's collection, and will have particular resonance with works by other 20th century artists in the collection (including Graham Sutherland, Leon Kossoff and Paul Nash) who have gone beyond traditional responses to landscape in their work, summoning mystery, energy, and a unique sense of place in equal measure.
