Collection of photographs of Dorset. Given by the donor to complete a collection of photographs in continuation of the series which he had presented since the appointment of the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (England). One of six gifts and eight bequests to three museums by E J Horniman through the Art Fund between 1922 and 1952.
