
1) Scene on two-leaved screen attributed to Mitsunober: An old gentleman playing a musical instrument to another companion, outside a villa gate. Three children are playing beside them. Japanese in the Chinese style, early seventeenth century. 2) Chinese Pilgrim Bottle in Ting Ware, Sung Dynasty bottle. These two works are part of an important public gift in the memory of Lady Sadler by Sir Michael Sadler, a member of the Executive Committee of the Art Fund in 1931. It takes the form of a collection of pictures and drawings, together with some objects of Oriental art.
