A selection of photographs from the Royal Photographic Society Collection by Julia Margaret Cameron including: 1) A Group of Children, circa 1867 (main illustration); 2) Carlyle like a Rough Block of Michelangelo's Sculpture, 1867; 3) Call, I Follow, I Follow, Let Me Die, 1867; 4) Ellen Terry at the Age of Sixteen, 1864.

The collection was formed as a record of the Society's history and a history of photography. It covers the period from pre-photography, including works by William H F Talbot, Roger Fenton, Henry Peach Robinson and British and American secession photography. In addition to approximately 270,000 photographs supported by the Art Fund grant the collection also includes photographic equipment, negatives, books etc.
