This work features her trademark designs: a found black and white image (probably sourced from 1980s advertising) overlaid with a short black and white text contained within a red frame. In this work Kruger combines seemingly disparate words and image to provoke thoughts and associations in the mind of the viewer. Kruger's work will be a valuable international addition to the Glasgow photography collection as well as enhancing the gallery's collection of works by artists who champion issues relating to women's rights.
