The life appears to be visibly draining from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in this forlorn depiction of his final hours.
His pallid complexion, coupled with the dazzling white bedlinen, are in stark contrast to the rich palette Grant uses to depict the composerÂ’s concerned attendant and the surrounding interiors.
