Design for an octagonal pulpit.
Peruzzi was appointed as architect at Siena Cathedral, 1529. Heraldic devices of Siena and the Opera del Duomo are visible in the spandrels. Subjects depicted all occur on pulpit. Bought along with following three drawings.
