Four Japanese painted cedar doors

They are said to have been taken from the Imperial palace outside Kyoto circa 1908 where 4 similiar doors remain in situ. Cedar wood was employed at this time instead of ordinary painted paper panels of the fusuma for doors giving on to the veranda.
