Composite depiction of Charles II's state progress from the Tower of London to Westminster on 22nd April 1661, the day before his Coronation.

Four huge triumphal arches were erected along the processional route in Leadenhall, Cornhill, Cheapside and Whitefriars, each representing an appropriate allegorical theme.
