Allom was an architect responsible for laying out the Ladbroke estate in Notting Hill, London.
Here the procession which traditionally took place annually on 9 Nov. A fine document of the appearance of the City at Blackfriars and a record of the manner in which one of the great City ceremonials was conducted at a time when the Thames was still one of London's main thoroughfares.
