Six drawings for 'Punch' magazine including 'A Suspicious Old Granny (in the early days of telegrams)' with the caption 'My dear Child, this telegram is not from George! I've known George's handwriting ever since he was a boy, and this is quite different!' published in Punch, August 1874.
Part of a collection of 300 drawings and illustrations bequeathed to 57 museums by the estate of George du Maurier through the Art Fund in 1934.
