A big, bold and bright exhibition from Jason Wilsher-Mills exploring themes of disability and celebrating the communities he's worked with.
This Arts Council England funded project sees Jason working with disabled communities around the UK, including Venture Arts in Manchester and groups in North Lincolnshire, Hull, Corby and London.
Exploring themes of disability, this new body of work tells the stories of these geographically diverse, learning-disabled groups, mixing them with Jason’s own biography and creating new narratives and myths about the artist.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is a huge inflatable sculpture which draws attention to the Changing Places campaign for fully accessible toilets to be installed in all large public venues.
Employing augmented reality and virtual reality, this colourful exhibition is bold and defiantly joyful.
