Children get creative with collaborative work of art to explore their connections with the sea.
Pearls of the Sea is Hastings Contemporary’s flagship schools programme, which has given thousands of local students the opportunity to unleash their creativity.
Now, this exhibition proudly shows collaborative art pieces made by 400 children from eight local schools that ponders their relationship with the sea, including cyanotype banners, mosaics, clay tablets, algae-dyed fabric, puppets, stick-and-ink illustrations and two on-site installations.
