Step back in time and experience life as a Victorian silk worker. Take a tour of the amazing Paradise Mill before heading to the Silk Museum for a weaving craft activity.
During the morning you will start with a tour of the recently reopened Paradise Mill. You will be told about working conditions for Victorian people in Macclesfield, see the machinery in it's original setting and talk about the jobs you would have done.
Following your tour you will head to the Silk Museum for a weaving activity in the classroom.
Suitable for ages 6 and over.
