Experimental Printmaking

Immerse yourself in a 2-hour session where participants dive into the world of experimental lithography and layering techniques, alongside formal printmaking practices. Explore the boundaries of traditional methods, unleashing your creativity in an environment that encourages innovation. All materials are provided, ensuring a seamless experience.

Expressive Etching

In this session you will experiment with dry-point etching. Under the expert guidance of our in-house artist, you will explore the possibilities of mark-making in dry-point etching. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting, this workshop invites you to experiment and with the traditional dry-point technique and create captivating prints that tell your story. Join us for a fun-experimental afternoon of printmaking – a perfect blend of instruction, exploration, and self-expression. Unleash your creativity and leave with personalised etched masterpieces!

Mining Masterpieces: Printmaking for Families

15, 16, & 17 August, 11.00am-15.00pm

This family-friendly activity requires no prior experience and no booking—just come along and unleash your creativity! All materials are provided, so you can focus on designing and creating your unique prints. Participants will learn the basics of block printmaking and have the opportunity to take home their finished artworks. It’s a perfect way to explore art together and be inspired by the rich history of mining through creative expression
