Celebrate Playday 2024 at the Brunel Museum! Enjoy a fun-filled day of STEAM-related activities designed for families.

Celebrate Playday 2024 at the Brunel Museum on August 7th!

From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, join us for a day filled with STEAM-related activities designed for families, including origami flowers, giant dominoes, bridge building, slime making, and more. This special event is in collaboration with Bizzie Bodies CIC, offering innovative and interactive experiences for children aged 5 and up.

We are excited to feature science presenter Fran Scott, who will dazzle audiences with a dynamic show based on her acclaimed book 'How to Build a Racing Car'. Fran will explore the world of racing engineering and build the perfect car with your help. The show runs from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM; booking is required.

Playday is the national day for play, celebrated annually across the UK on the first Wednesday in August. This year's theme is "Play – The Culture of Childhood".

Join us at the Brunel Museum for a day of discovery, learning, and playful fun for the whole family!

Feel free to bring picnics to enjoy in the Museum Piazza and Garden.
