Brockfield Hall is a country house in North Yorkshire with a renowned Staithes Group art collection.

The late Georgian house at Warthill was designed by Peter Atkinson and features an oval entrance with a cantilevered stone staircase that sweeps beneath an impressive Venetian window. The hall is the family home of Mr. Wood and his wife, the Hon Mrs. Wood and was recently refurbished, winning Sotheby’s Historic Houses Restoration Award in 2023.

Renowned art collection

Brockfield Hall is just six miles from York and is home to the country's largest collection of paintings by the Staithes Group, a community of artists working in the early 20th century and based in the North Yorkshire fishing village of Staithes. Inspired by French Impressionists, they created works outdoors using oil or watercolors, and were closely associated with the Newlyn School in Cornwall.

Brockfield Hall is a delightful small Georgian brick house in a peaceful setting and is open to the public for a limited time during the summer months.
