Pipe collection
Broseley Pipeworks houses an impressive collection of clay tobacco pipes. From the classic churchwarden pipes to the curiously long Dutch long straws, the museum showcases the variety and ingenuity of these everyday objects. Surprisingly, the pipes weren't just for smoking tobacco! The museum also houses examples of clay pipes specifically designed for medicinal purposes.
A part of Ironbridge
Broseley Pipeworks is one of ten museum sites within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site telling the story of the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, located within walking distance of other Ironbridge attractions such as the Museum of the Gorge and the Iron Bridge and Toll House.
