The museum experience begins by exploring the origins of the Gurkhas in Nepal in the early 1800s. Explore displays showcasing Gurkha uniforms, weaponry, such as the Kukri, as well hundreds of medals. Did you know 26 Victoria Crosses have been awarded to Gurkhas?

The Gurkha Museum will close for redevelopment towards the end of 2024 and reopen in 2026
