The Watermill
The first written record of Stretton Watermill was 1351 and the last miller retired in 1959. Learn about the history of the mill in the intervening centuries and join one of the millers on a fascinating tour of the building.
What to do
See the ancient wooden machinery in action, listen to stories, have a go at milling grain, work miniature models, wander around the displays or just relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside setting.
Stretton Watermill is open from April to December and is a great choice for a family day out in an idyllic setting. Keep an eye out for special exhibitions and children's events for children and adult workshops.
