Ugbrooke House is a Grade 1 listed stately home, nestled in a tranquil Devon valley, with a huge estate landscaped by 'Capability' Brown.
This picturesque stately home nestled in the rolling hills of South Devon offers visitors a glimpse into the history and grandeur of the Clifford family, who have lived there for almost 500 years. Featuring in the Domesday book of 1086, the House has gone through many changes in its 900 plus years. Robert Adam and 'Capability' Brown were commissioned to remodel the house, grounds and garden in the mid 18th century. Outstanding Adam interior designs and unique external features still remain.
