This event has now passed, find out what else is going on at The Coffin Works

Experience the award-winning Coffin Works on an atmospheric evening tour! This exclusive experience gives you a chance to explore the museum after hours.

The Museum preserves the contents of the former Newman Brothers’ manufactory, which closed in 1998. The shelves and workbenches are full of original stock and tools of the trade. With the original machinery working again, you can truly experience how this old Jewellery Quarter fime once operated on a day-to-day basis. Newman Brothers produced some of the world’s finest coffin furniture, including the fittings for the funerals of Winston Churchill, the Queen Mother and Princess Diana.

Newman Brothers supplied the world’s finest coffin furniture and on this tour you will discover its many Commonwealth links, including sales to Australia and New Zealand, South Africa, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Malta and many more.

Prices are £15 per person, which includes a hot or cold beverage of your choice. Booking in advance required.
