During the session you will learn about the details and meaning behind each step of the ceremony.
Session 1: 11:00 – 11:45am
Session 2: 12:00 – 12:45pm
(This event is suitable for age 13 and above. Maximum 6 people per session)
The session also includes:
The chance to explore the galleries and discover our temporary exhibitions and exquisite collections, including tea-ware from East and Southeast Asia.
You will also receive a traditional Japanese Nerikiri (練り切り) sweet made by local confectioner Ryoko Stibbe, and a small Matcha (抹茶) tea pouch (enough for two cups) provided by Comins Tea, a local independent tea merchant.
