A Look Club return visit to one of our favourite art museums - The New Art Gallery Walsall – for a tour of exhibitions and displays.
Head of learning at the gallery, Alex Jolly, will be showing us around the exhibitions: JOY (in the community gallery) and Earthbound, as well as the Landscape room in the main collection.
Following lunch in the on-site Costa, there'll be free tie for you to explore the galleries, collection and exhibitions at your leisure.
NB: This option is for those happy to explore the galleries WITHOUT the Look Club session – Monet's Le Chemin Creux dans la Falaise à Varengeville (The Sunken Road in the Cliff at Varengeville), 1882, which is now unfortunately sold out.
TIMETABLE:
10.45am – arrival
11am – Welcome from Alex Jolly Tour of JOY (Community Gallery), Landscapes Room (Floor 1) and Earthbound (Floor 3).
12.40pm – Lunch
