The D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum at the University of Dundee houses a collection of animal specimens from around the world.
The museum houses many specimens from around the world, most of them collected in the 1880s and 1890s by D’Arcy Wentworth Thompson, the first Professor of Biology at Dundee. As well as an extraordinary variety of animals, the museum also features many of D’Arcy’s original models and other teaching aids, and fascinating artworks inspired by his collections and ideas.
