Replica room
Using original wood panelling and period furniture, the museum houses a replica of the room in Exeter House where Charles Edward Stuart, also known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, held his Jacobite Council of War in 1745. The room tells the story of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 and the role Derby played in this defining moment in history.
