Housed within a beautifully restored Victorian church designed by architect Edward Buckton Lamb in 1854, the gallery offers a unique blend of history and contemporary art. Reopened in 1996, the Grade II listed building sits in the heart of Hartlepool's cultural quarter, and a short walk from the train station.
Diverse program
The gallery boasts a frequently changing exhibition program, ranging from contemporary works and touring displays to pieces from the permanent collection established by Sir William Cresswell Gray in 1920.
