Edwardian Politics and Leicester By Philip French

Far from being the Golden era depicted in costume dramas the Edwardian epoch was a time of political turmoil. Suffragettes were struggling for the vote, industrial workers were striking for a better way of life, Ireland was on the verge of civil war and the house of commons and House of Lords were fighting to the last ditch. Find out how these issues played out in Leicester and beyond.

Tickets can be purchased online or via the Leicester Guildhall Box Office.

Tickets £4.50 per person.
