10am-3pm

Our Summer Art School is a series of workshops for adults. Book onto our weekly workshops to learn a new techniques.

David Swinton is a professional artist living in Whittlesey. David teaches three local art classes for adults in watercolour and other media. For this class we will be working on heavy-duty, NOT surface paper to learn a number of exciting watercolour techniques, such as wet-in-wet, graded wash, sponged foliage, wax resist and rigger trees. Watercolour is a beautiful medium and learning basic skills helps beginners to progress with this challenging art.

You will be provided with all the materials and equipment you need for the course but if you have your own brushes and paints please bring them with you on the day.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
