Join us for an evening of cocktails, comedy, and drawing room drama, with readings of beloved scenes from Pride and Prejudice
Join us for an evening of cocktails, comedy, and drawing room drama!
Enjoy a choice of Gin Austen cocktails - Netherfield Punch or Fizzy Miss Lizzie - before settling in for a dramatic reading of scenes from Pride and Prejudice. The scenes are performed from Duologues from the Novels of Jane Austen, collated by Rosina Filippi in 1895 - the earliest adaptation of Jane Austen's novels for stage. Filippi chose senes of female empowerment from Austen's novels, and this evening you can relive Elizabeth's rejection of Cousin Collins, and her visit from the formidable Lady Catherine.
Tickets: £15 (includes a cocktail on arrival)
