The FNM are delighted to be hosting lanternists Jeremy and Carolyn Brooker for a entertainment show like no other.
Monday 17th February the Florence Nightingale Museum are delighted to be hosting lanternists Jeremy and Carolyn Brooker for a entertainment show like no other.
Combining original glass slides from the 19th and 20th century paired alongside modern slides of their own creations the show will feature an authentic triple magic lantern, combining three projections in a single device, allowing them to present a fast moving show that features some of the most spectacular effects the lantern can produce.
This bespoke show will highlight the advancements in Victorian Technology and is perfect for the whole family!
Carolyn and Jeremy Brooker have been performing together for over 20 years to perfect this demanding art and are always happy to answer questions about this centuries old art form after the show.
Shows last approximately 30 minutes and your time slot includes 60 minutes to explore the museum after the show.
Times are:
11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm
Tickets are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance.
