Talks day commemorating Martlesham Heath as the site of the world’s first AIRBORNE radar experiments.
Bawdsey Radar Trust, in conjunction with The Defence Electronics History Society and The Communications and Electronics Museum Trust, will be holding an event at the BT Adastral Park site at Martlesham Heath on 15 August 2025. The morning session will consist of a series of 10 minute presentations aimed at those with little or no technical background and the opportunity to see replicas of the original airborne radar equipment.

Entry will be by prebooking ONLY and will cost £12.50 per person per session
Coffee/tea and biscuits will be provided
Minimum age is 16 years
Full names of all attendees will be required at least two weeks in advance
Photographic ID must be shown on entry to the site (no ID on the day will result in entry being declined)
Entry fees are non refundable
