Ten portraits to celebrate the achievements of the Windrush Generation.
Windrush: Portraits of a Pioneering Generation honours the accomplishments and legacy of the Windrush Generation, and features 10 portraits of remarkable Caribbean-British individuals by leading artists, including Sonia Boyce and Amy Sherald.
The faces and stories of these sitters recognise the personal resilience and the positive impact of diversity across Britain, and were selected by a panel following a commission from King Charles to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Windrush's arrival in Britain. Following an opening in Edinburgh and tour to London, the exhibition is in Bristol for the first time this summer.

Facilities now include large new lift; expanded cafe; family-friendly activity space; changing places toilet facility; free-to-access spaces on all floors. Admission charged for major exhibitions; half price for Art Fund members and free for all under 21s and all students.
