The Photographers' Gallery
With a National Art Pass you get
The Photographers' Gallery is the largest public gallery in London dedicated to photography, with exhibitions ranging from the latest emerging talent to established artists.
Since its establishment in 1971, this multi-storey space tucked away behind Oxford Street has tirelessly promoted the role of photography in culture and society. It was the first public gallery in the country to exhibit such international names as Robert Capa, Juergen Teller, Sebastião Salgado and Taryn Simon, as well as UK-based photographers such as Martin Parr, Zineb Sedira and Corinne Day.
It aims to support a wide variety of photographic work through its wide-ranging exhibition programme, talks, events and its annual Photography Prize.
In 2022, the gallery opened an exciting new space, the Soho Photography Quarter. This outdoor space is a newly-designed pedestrianised zone where ambient lighting, trees and planters create a tranquil space right at the gateway to Soho. Two major exhibitions will be held in the space each year, showcasing British and international solo artists.
