The rich history of the ancient port town in Dorset is revealed over four floors of galleries at Poole Museum, housed in a 19th-century quayside warehouse.
With an extensive local social history collection, highlights include the Iron Age Poole log boat and the finest collection of Poole Pottery on public display.
Poole Museum is temporarily closed to the public whilst major conservation and restoration works are underway.
