The Science Museum tells the history of Western science, technology and medicine from 1700 to the present day through its collection of more than 300,000 original objects.

Located on Exhibition Road in London's iconic museum corner, the Science Museum's collection boasts an incredible 300,000 objects from across the scientific, medical and technology industries, charting world history as it has developed in these areas over time. Changing displays and special exhibitions cover a wide range of topics, from the locomotive industry and the history of flight to journeys through the solar system.

With a selection of spectacular galleries to visit, you can wander Wonderlab: The Equinor Gallery, an interactive gallery exploring the beauty of the maths and science that shape our daily lives, The Wellcome Galleries, showcasing some of the most significant medical collections in the world, and Information Age, a display of 800 objects focused on the development of communication technology.

Science City 1550-1800: The Linbury Gallery tells stories of the people who have influenced and been affected by scientific discovery, showing how over three centuries London transformed from a modest commercial centre to a global scientific powerhouse. Plus, 11-16 year-olds can explore the exciting world of technicians in the interactive Technicians: The David Sainsbury Gallery which opened in 2022.

There are daily tours, live events, science shows and 800 interactive exhibits, as well as simulator rides and an IMAX 3D cinema to dive headfirst into the complex world of science around the globe.
