One of the large circular eyes is still inlaid with glass but the terminal is now broken at both ends. The drinking horn terminal provides evidence of a wealthy elite operating in Lincolnshire and the ability to manufacture items of the finest quality in the area.

Discovered on ploughed land in Grantham by a metal detector user and declared Treasure in 2003.
