See behind the scenes of the Museum’s Natural History Collection and join one of our team for a walk around the shore.
The shoreline rambles connect the museum's natural history collection, with the Stromness shoreline. You'll get a sneak peek at some of the research collections in the museum before heading outdoors to ramble along the Stromness shoreline, visiting beaches to find out more about the plants and animals which live there.
It involves walking on uneven surfaces and being on your feet for 2 hours. Please come dressed for the weather and with sturdy outdoor footwear.
