Fantastic Faces and Figures
Come and celebrate the special people in your life and get creative with portraiture.
Join us for a range of brilliant free arts and crafts sessions this summer, inspired by our phenomenal 'The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure' exhibition. Sessions are particularly ideal for children aged 4 to 11 years old and their adults and will focus on a different activity each week!
We'll be making a collaborative nature-inspired artwork (23-25 July), prints that celebrate the things we love about our favourite people (30 July-1 August), silhouettes (6-8 August) and sunglasses (13-15 August), air dry clay tiles (20-23 August) and beautiful frames (27-29 August).
Sessions run from 10.30am-12.30pm (last entries 12.15pm) and 1.30-3.30pm (last entries 3.15pm) and are free with no need to book in advance. Come along for a little or as long as you like. If our workshop space is busy we have free family trails and activities on the 'Explore More' tables next to our shop for you to try.
