As part of Heritage Open Days 2024 we’re offering the chance to join assistant curator, Holly Carter-Chappell on a free tour of RAMM’s exhibition Are we nearly there yet? A history of transport.
Travelling forms part of our everyday experience of life. From the earliest times to the present, people around the globe have pondered the best means of transport to get to their destination. This exhibition explores how transport has developed over the centuries and the people and events which have shaped it, as told through objects in RAMM’s collections.
