This one-day workshop is designed to help you make the most of your visit to Normandy.
Delivered by Dr Simon Trew, a leading expert on the subject it is designed to address key practical questions such as when should I go? Should I go with an organised group, employ a guide, or am I better off self-guiding? And what problems might I face and how can I deal with them?
Emphasis will be placed throughout the day on things you can do before you go to Normandy, so you can make the most of your time there.
Dr Simon Trew is former head of the Department of War Studies at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Since 1994, he has visited Normandy on well over a hundred occasions, mostly to deliver battlefield tours, staff rides and educational/training programmes to a mixture of military and civilian audiences.
The one-day workshop is £55 and includes tea/coffee and a visit to the museum (plus EventBrite fees).
Lunch will not be provided but there is a café on site.
